The 11th Inter-Leeds Swimming Championship 2025 was held in grand style on 12th July 2025 at the Panadura Swimming Pool Complex, marking yet another milestone in the sporting calendar of the Leeds International School Network. Organized by Leeds International School, Maharagama, this much-anticipated annual event brought together talented swimmers from across our network of schools. With vibrant team spirit, fierce competition, and unwavering sportsmanship, the tournament turned out to be one of the most eye-catching and memorable events of the year.
After a day of intense and thrilling competition in the water, Leeds International School, Panadura emerged as the champions, showcasing outstanding skill and coordination. Leeds Galle claimed the runners-up position, followed closely by Leeds Ambalangoda who secured the title of second runners-up.
The event concluded with a grand closing ceremony graced by the esteemed Chairman of the Leeds Network, Dr. Sarath Jayatilaka, the Directress Ms Hemamala Jayatissa and the Coordinating Principal, Madam Kaushalya Illeperuma ,whose presence added prestige to the occasion.
The tournament not only celebrated excellence in swimming but also reinforced the spirit of unity and participation among all branches under the theme: "Not to win, but to take part." Congratulations to all the participants, organizers, and winners for making this event a remarkable success!
