Network Coordination and Leadership Team

The LEEDS network is overseen by a Network Coordination and Leadership Team ( NCLT), that monitors and guides all branch schools. The Network Coordination and Leadership Team is structured around two distinct pillars: Academic and Non-Academic. All academic functions are overseen by the Coordinating Principal, while all operational matters fall under the leadership of the General Manager – Operations.Network Coordination will centrally govern and provide strategic direction for both academic and non-academic areas across the schools. This includes, but is not limited to, Head of Academic, Head of examination, Network HR, Network IT, Network Sports, and Network Finance.Each branch operates with its own management team, with Pre-schools led by Headmistresses and Primary/Secondary schools led by Principals. Additional leadership includes Deputy Principals, General Coordinators, Sectional Heads, and Grade Coordinators

About Mrs. Kaushalya Illeperuma

Mrs. Kaushalya Madhushani Punchihewa Illeperuma brings over 12 years of dedicated experience in the field of education, having served in key leadership roles including General Coordinator, Registrar, and Deputy Principal. Currently serving as the Coordinating Principal, she is known for her strategic leadership and commitment to educational excellence.
She holds a Master’s Degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Relations and Human Resource Management from the University of Colombo, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Kelaniya. She is also professionally qualified in Human Resource Management through CIPM Sri Lanka. Kaushalya is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Education at PSB University, Cambodia, and a Diploma in Psychology and Counselling at Nile University.
Kaushalya has presented at academic conferences and addressed international school principals, reflecting her active engagement in global educational discourse. Her research on developing distributed leadership among teachers at Leeds International School demonstrates her dedication to progressive school leadership.
With a strong foundation in human resource management and a passion for fostering positive school cultures, she continues to drive impactful educational initiatives

Mrs. Dilini Senevirathne embodies 15 years of educational excellence at LEEDS International School Network. Her remarkable journey from classroom teacher to Principal of LEEDS Matugama and current Academic Supervisor showcases her dedication and leadership capabilities. Holding an MBA in Human Resources Management from University of Colombo, BA (Social Science) from OUSL, and a Diploma in Pre-Primary Education (NVQ Level 4), she combines strategic management expertise with educational innovation. Her Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) certification reflects her commitment to pedagogical best practices. Throughout her tenure, Mrs. Senevirathne has consistently demonstrated exceptional administrative acumen and versatile capabilities. As Academic Supervisor, she now shapes the network's educational future, bringing her wealth of experience to oversee academic standards across all LEEDS branches. Mrs. Ayoni Nanayakkara

About Mrs. Ayoni Nanayakkara

With a passion for both technology and education, she began her academic journey at SLIIT, specializing in IT, and later earned a Postgraduate Diploma and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Colombo. After gaining industry experience at Sri Lanka Telecom, she discovered her true calling in education. For over a decade, she has taught O/L Mathematics in Sri Lanka and abroad, inspiring students with dedication and care. From 2014 to 2025, she held several key positions in international schools, including Chief Coordinator, Sectional Head of the Senior School, and Grade Coordinator, while also contributing actively to extracurricular development. Today, she serves as the Head of Academics at the LEEDS Network, leading academic operations across 17 branches island wide. She brings a strong blend of leadership, technical expertise, and a deep commitment to fostering academic excellence and holistic development in every learner.

About Mrs. Rasika Jayatissa

Mrs. Rasika Jayatissa brings 22 years of educational excellence to LEEDS as our Network Coordinator for pre-school to primary education. With a BSc in Education from Aldersgate University, Philippines, and a Diploma in Preschool & Primary Education (Montessori Method), she expertly bridges the gap between early childhood and primary education. Her impressive teaching portfolio includes over 10 years each in pre-school and primary levels, specializing in Mathematics, Science, English, Environmental Studies, and Buddhism. As a seasoned leader, Mrs. Jayatissa has served as Sectional Head for 5 years and Teacher in Charge of Swimming for over 7 years. With multiple teaching qualifications including diplomas and certificates in English for Teachers, Mrs. Jayatissa embodies LEEDS' commitment to nurturing young minds through experienced, qualified educators.

Mr. Binishka Nayanananda brings over 22 years of distinguished corporate experience to LEEDS International School network. As General Manager of Operations, he oversees the comprehensive development and optimization of all operational functions across school network. With an Executive MBA and professional qualifications in marketing and management, Mr. Nayanananda applies his strategic expertise to enhance administrative efficiency, service quality, and operational excellence throughout the school network. His extensive career spans leadership roles in educational institutions, facilities management, higher education administration, and financial operations. At LEEDS, he leads critical initiatives ranging from operational policy development to staff capacity building and performance optimization. Mr. Nayanananda is committed to fostering positive stakeholder relationships and developing leadership capacity among staff while ensuring world-class educational environments for our students. A member of prestigious professional organizations including CPM-SL and AICM-SL, he continues to drive LEEDS International School's operational success through strategic innovation and excellence.
