Our History & Profile
Founding and Development
LEEDS International School Horana was established on 3rd January, 2008, beginning its journey with just five students and twelve teachers. Despite its modest beginnings, the school was built on a vision of providing quality international education to the Horana community. Over the years, the school experienced steady growth in both student numbers and facility development. The commitment to educational excellence and holistic development attracted more families from Horana and surrounding areas, leading to the school’s expansion and enhancement of its infrastructure and programs.
Our Branch Today
Today, LEEDS International School Horana has flourished into a respected educational institution with approximately 500 students and a dedicated team of 40 teachers. The school offers education from Play Group to Edexcel O/L, preparing students for both academic success and personal development. Our School features modern classrooms, a science lab, an ICT lab, and a library, all contributing to creating a vibrant academic atmosphere. The school’s reputation for balancing academic rigor with extracurricular enrichment has established it as a leading educational institution in the region.

Early Years Program
Our Play Group and Kindergarten curriculum focuses on early childhood development through play-based learning, introducing children to foundational concepts while nurturing their natural curiosity and creativity.
Primary Education
