Leeds International School Opens
New Branch in Walgama, Matara
On 9th September 2025, the Leeds International School Network proudly expanded its family by opening the doors of its newest branch in Walgama – Matara. This significant milestone reflects the school’s continued commitment to making quality education accessible across Sri Lanka, while nurturing well rounded future leaders.
The inauguration day was a moment of pride and joy, as the Leeds Walgama–Matara branch warmly welcomed its first group of young learners. With bright smiles and eager hearts, these little ones took their very first steps into the world of education, marking the beginning of a journey filled with discovery, knowledge, and growth.

This new branch will follow the National Curriculum in the English medium, ensuring that students not only achieve academic excellence but also gain the confidence and communication skills needed in today’s global world.
