Founding and Development
Founding and Development
LEEDS International School Tangalle was established in 2015, marking LEEDS’ expansion into the Hambantota District. The school began its journey with just 17 students and seven teachers, operating initially in a rented facility as it introduced international education standards to the region. The school’s commitment to quality education quickly gained recognition in the community, leading to steady growth in enrollment. In 2022, LEEDS Tangalle achieved a significant milestone by moving to its own purpose-built premises, featuring modern facilities including smart boards and a well-equipped science lab.

Our Branch Today
Today, LEEDS International School Tangalle serves approximately 700 students with a team of 50 dedicated teachers. The school offers education from Play Group to IGCSE, providing a comprehensive educational pathway for students in the Tangalle area. Our current School offers a conducive learning environment with modern educational technology integrated throughout. The school has become an important educational institution in the region, known for maintaining the LEEDS standard of balancing academic rigor with holistic development and cultural values

Early Years Program
Our Play Group and Kindergarten curriculum follows a play-based approach with elements of AMI techniques and thematic learning, developing foundational skills in a nurturing environment.
